Low cost PLC

Dear Readers,

                      Allen Bradley has launched low coast and small  PLCs "MICRO 800" for Small application like small SPM (i.e Water leak testing machine, hydraulic press, Weld Lathe, etc). Similarly Siemens has also introduced small PLC "S7-1200". While Messung-Mitsubishi launched "Nexgenie" & "FX3G" PLC.
                    This all PLCs are generally contains all basic functions,timers,counters,I/O display or LED for I/Os and 24 to 88 I/Os. All of these are very good,compact and small budget PLC for small project.

Allen Bradely PLC and Servo

Dear Readers,

                          I have used Allen Bradley "Micrologix 1400" PLC with Allen Bradley Servo amplifier of "Kinetix" series and servo motor over "mod-bus" communication. Its very good experience. its very easy to control motor and drive through programming and required very small program or subroutine of few instructions which contains "MSG" instruction and basic mathematical instruction and reduced so much programming time. main thing, very good accuracy and repeatability and we can do programming up to "64 index" very easily. its also reduced time of hard wiring for digital I/Os, here we can configure it in  Software. for more safety need to take only few hardwired signals like "Servo Enable" and " Home sensor (In case of  Absolute)".
